The first participant of the Robot Ball – the famous Android Tespian - has arrived in Moscow. Like all tourists visiting the Russian capital, first of all, he went to Red Square, where he talked to locals and enjoyed a cup of coffee in one of the surrounding cafes.
Thespian is an actor and presenter. He is not meant to facilitate physical labor, but he can conduct conferences, weddings and holidays. Once he even opened an exhibition together with Angela Merkel and David Cameron. The android will stay in Russia for just a month in the framework of the festival of robots, which will be held in Moscow from May 15 to June 15. The festival will also feature several dozens of other androids: a robot-artist who paints portraits with his mechanical hands; robot-singer & even a rock group having only of mechanisms.
